Who I am

Welcome!

I grew up in Tifton, Georgia swimming in the backyard pond and sword fighting with cattails. I loved tap class, got bored in ballet, and could quote every word to the movie Grease. My curfew was the streetlights flickering on as I raced my bike down the hill towards home. I read every Nancy Drew book in my school library and earned my personal pan pizza every year. I attended college at Valdosta State University earning my Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and a year later my Masters of Accountancy. My junior year of college I attended VSU’s study abroad program in Germany and fell in love with traveling.

After college, I moved to DeKalb County in 2013 to work as a corporate accountant in the telecom and later IT/IaaS industries. My entire career has been spent with two companies and I’ve been fortunate enough to love both jobs. In 2020, I moved to Forsyth County because it reminds me of where I grew up.
